Update New version (2.1) available
There is very handy Visual Studio plugin called Resource Rafactoring Tool on CodePlex. This tool does not work in Visual Studio 2010 (yet). I have made slight changes need to install and work in Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2.
I'm going to upload my changes as patch to CodePlex, but working with patches is not very user-friendly and I wanted to share MSI with you as soon as possible, so I uploaded the MSI and source to my website.
The tool itself and tool source code is licensed under Microsoft Public License (Ms-PL)
This license governs use of the accompanying software. If you use the
software, you accept this license. If you do not accept the license, do
not use the software.
1. Definitions
The terms
"reproduce," "reproduction," "derivative works," and "distribution"
have the same meaning here as under U.S. copyright law.
A "contribution" is the original software, or any additions or changes to the software.

to reproduce its contribution, prepare derivative works of its

(B) Patent Grant- Subject to the terms of this
license, including the license conditions and limitations in section 3,
each contributor grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free
license under its licensed patents to make, have made, use, sell, offer
for sale, import, and/or otherwise dispose of its contribution in the
software or derivative works of the contribution in the software.
3. Conditions and Limitations
(A) No Trademark License- This license does not grant you rights to use any contributors' name, logo, or trademarks.
(B)
If you bring a patent claim against any contributor over patents that
you claim are infringed by the software, your patent license from such
contributor to the software ends automatically.
(C) If you
distribute any portion of the software, you must retain all copyright,
patent, trademark, and attribution notices that are present in the
software.
(D) If you distribute any portion of the software in
source code form, you may do so only under this license by including a

I hope I do not violate license termy by modifying the tool and sharing it with you.
Release notes:- Should work win VS 2005/2008/2010 (tested 2008 and 2010).
- Includes my another patch 1905 to this project (allow to extract string to any resx file, not only those with Build Action = Embedded Resource).
- With exception of patch 1905 no changes have been done to source code of tool itself.
- Installer have been changed to use WiX 3.5.
- This tool have not been intensively tested. I just hope it will work with VS2010 as it worked with 2005/8 and it seems to work.
